Cull Before Edit

An AI helper that sets aside blurry shots and closed eyes first, so photographers have more time left to edit.

A single shoot can produce 1,000–3,000 photos

Culling by hand
8–24 hrs
Goal: AI rough cull
15–30 min

Built with FIBO, KMUTT, at 2B-KMUTT Batch 20

  1. Group the same scene

Each photo gets a pHash; photos less than 10 bits apart count as one scene.

  2. Find faces

InsightFace detects faces and aligns 106 facial landmarks.

  3. Check eyes and sharpness

An EAR below 0.20 counts as closed eyes; the face detection score helps judge sharpness.

  4. Keep the key shots

If no photo in a scene has everyone's eyes open, only photos where more than half the people blink are set aside.

  5. Sort into folders

Keep, Blur_photo and Blink_photo, for the photographer to check.
